All Set For 2025 GCE Ordinary Level Exam

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Department of Examinations says all arrangements have been made to begin the 2025 GCE Ordinary Level Examination.

The exam will be held from tomorrow until the 26th.

A total of 451,463 candidates will sit for the Ordinary Level examination this year.

Out of them, 382,249 are school candidates.

Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage, said the exams will be conducted at 3,545 centers across the island.

Deputy Director of the Disaster Management Center, Pradeep Kodippili, stated that a special disaster plan has been prepared in case of any emergency during the exam period.

A special security plan has also been arranged for the examination centers.
