Police Urge Passengers to Report Unsafe Bus Operations to Authorities

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police are urging passengers to immediately lodge complaints regarding buses operating in a harassing or unsafe manner.

Deputy Inspector General of Police for Traffic and Road Safety, W. P. J. Senadheera, stated that such complaints will be forwarded to the relevant police station commanders for necessary action.

Passengers can report complaints via the National Transport Commission’s hotline 1955 or via WhatsApp to 071 259 5555.
