GMOA Launches 48-Hour Strike

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to launch a 48‑hour strike starting at 8.00 a.m today.

GMOA Spokesperson Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe stated that the trade union action is being taken in protest against the Health Minister’s failure to resolve the issues that have arisen within the hospital system and concerns affecting medical professionals.
