Parliament to Debate Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Scheme Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): Parliament will convene at 9.30 a.m. today under the patronage of Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

During the sitting, the House is scheduled to debate the Aswesuma Social Welfare Benefit Scheme under the Welfare Benefits Act No. 24 of 2002.

Following the debate, the proposal is expected to be put to a vote for approval.
