Decrease in Rainfall Expected Starting Today

COLOMBO (News1st): The Department of Meteorology says that a decrease in rainfall is expected starting today.

Accordingly, showers or thundershowers may occur in the Kalutara, Galle, Matara, and Ratnapura districts after 4:00 PM.

Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere on the island. 

Misty conditions can be expected during the early morning hours in some parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
