Financial Aid for Students Affected by Cyclone

COLOMBO (News 1st); The President’s Fund has launched a special financial assistance program for schoolchildren affected by the recent Ditwah cyclone, marking a significant step in supporting families hit by the disaster.

Under this initiative, each affected student will receive a cash grant of Rs. 10,000 from the President’s Fund. Officials confirmed that all necessary financial allocations have already been dispatched to District Secretaries, ensuring swift disbursement.

This grant comes in addition to the Rs. 15,000 relief payment previously provided by the government.
