Landslide Alerts Remain in effect for 4 Districts

COLOMBO (News1st): The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) says that landslide warnings remain in effect for several Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Matale, and Badulla districts.

Senior Geologist of the National Building Research Organisation, Dr. Wasantha Senadheera made this statement at a special press conference held today. 

Accordingly Level 1 and Level 2 Landslide Warnings have been issued to the Udu Dumbara Divisional Secretariat Division of the Kandy District and Wilgamuwa Divisional Secretariat Division of the Matale District and Mathurata, Nildandahinna and Walapane DS Divisions of the Nuwaraeliya District and several other divisional secretariat divisions.
