COLOMBO (News1st): The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) has organized a National Summit on Child Protection, marking the first time such an event will be held in Sri Lanka.
The summit is scheduled to be held under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Shanika Malalgoda, Director of the National Child Protection Authority, says that the summit will be held in March, 2026.
A key focus of the event will be to gather perspectives directly from children regarding their own safety and protection, ensuring that future policy decisions are informed by their ideas and feedback.
