Compensation Payments for Disaster-Damaged Houses from Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News1st): Compensation payments for all disaster-damaged houses will be disbursed starting tomorrow.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake made this comment at the second meeting of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Finance, Planning, and Economic Development.

During the meeting, an extensive discussion was held regarding the current status of the government’s relief program for those affected by Cyclone Ditwah, and the ongoing initiatives for resettlement and compensation for crop damage.
