Health Ministry To Test Medicines After Distribution

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health says that a program has been initiated to test medicines even after they are distributed to hospitals and pharmacies.

Deputy Minister Dr. Hansaka Wijayamuni stated that steps will be taken to utilize the laboratories of the Ministry of Science and Technology for this purpose.

The Deputy Minister added that the program is being implemented with the aim of improving the quality of medicines.
