Special Transport Services for Commuters Returning to Colombo

COLOMBO (News1st): Special transport services for people returning to Colombo from their hometowns following the festive season will operate starting today.

The Chief Operations Officer of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), Sankha Weerasuriya, says that buses are ready to operate across several provinces. 

Meanwhile, the National Transport Commission (NTC) says that additional trips for long-distance services have been planned for the public returning to Colombo.

Furthermore, the Department of Railways announced that the Intercity Express train from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai is scheduled to operate today.

Additionally, a special train bound for Colombo Fort is scheduled to depart from the Matara Railway Station at 5:00 AM on the 30th of December.
