PM Calls For Love And Togetherness This Christmas, Stresses Collective Responsibility

COLOMBO (News 1st): ssuing her Christmas message, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya says that the love and empathy shown by the people who cast aside all differences to stand united and collective for their fellow citizens in distress is highly commendable.

The Prime Minister stressed that following the recent natural disasters, all communities must act with a sole objective and collective responsibility to restore the country to normalcy.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya further remarked that this is the moment for all segments of society to unite for the future of the nation with one purpose.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya called on everyone to celebrate Christmas by demonstrating to the world the noble doctrine preached by Jesus Christ: to love one another.
