NBRO inspects 1,433 Landslide-Prone Areas

COLOMBO (News 1st) -The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has completed inspections of 1,433 landslide-prone areas.
Senior Geologist Wasantha Senadheera said the organization has received requests to inspect a total of 10,884 such sites.
Meanwhile, Senadheera confirmed that the landslide red alert issued for several Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts remains in effect.
