SLTB Extends Student Travel Passes Amid Disaster

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has announced that schoolchildren in flood and landslide impacted regions will be allowed to continue using their November travel passes throughout December.

The SLTB stated that this decision was taken after carefully considering the prevailing disaster situation, which has disrupted normal life and schooling in several areas. 

By extending the validity of the passes, authorities aim to ensure uninterrupted access to education for students during this challenging period.
