A/L 2025 Timetable Revised: Affected Students Given New Exam Dates and Reporting Instructions

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations has announced the revised timetable for the subjects of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination that could not be held due to the recent disaster that took place in the country.

The subjects that were not held due to this, will be rescheduled from the 12th to the 20th January 2026.

Instructions for Applicants:

If an affected school applicant is unable to appear for the examination at their designated examination centre, the Principal of the school must be informed regarding the matter.

If a Principal has applicants in their school who have been affected by the disaster, the Zonal Director of Education and the Commissioner-General of Examinations must be informed.

If an affected private applicant is unable to appear for the examination at their designated examination centre, officials must be informed on the following methods:
