Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 Makes Emergency Landing in Lunuwila

COLOMBO (News 1st); A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in Lunuwila, Wennappuwa.

According to Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyyakontha, the helicopter had four Air Force personnel onboard, including the pilots, at the time of the incident.

The aircraft was en route to distribute essential supplies to residents stranded by rising waters when the emergency occurred.
