Floods Hit Katunayake Access Roads

COLOMBO (News 1st); Katunayake International Airport is facing challenges as several access roads have been affected by flooding due to the prevailing disaster situation. 

In an official statement, the airport and airline authorities advised passengers to continue using the Colombo–Katunayake Expressway for travel to and from the airport.

To minimize congestion within the airport premises during this period, authorities have requested passengers not to bring accompanying visitors to the terminal. 

Despite these difficulties, the airport assured that all operational activities will continue uninterrupted, ensuring smooth flight schedules and passenger services.
