Fake Police Gear Seized in Anguruwatota — Two Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st): In a special operation conducted by the Police Special Task Force (STF), two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of possessing and attempting to sell official police uniforms and equipment.

The raid, carried out in the Anguruwatota area, led to the recovery of:

6 trousers resembling police uniforms
7 police-style shirts
A mobile phone
Shoulder insignia
State emblems
A pistol holster
And several other items typically associated with law enforcement gear

The suspects, aged 38 and 39, are residents of Anguruwatota and Panadura. 

The suspects have been handed over to the Western Province South Crimes Investigation Division for further interrogation and legal proceedings.
