Firearms Found On Jaffna University Library Roof

COLOMBO(News 1st); Another cache of firearms and ammunition has been discovered on the roof of the Jaffna University Library building.

Police said that during a search conducted yesterday, a T-56 firearm, two magazines, three small bombs, and 175 rounds of T-56 ammunition were found.

The day before yesterday, two magazines and 60 bullets used for T-56 firearms were also found on the same roof.

Police added that the two magazines were wrapped in newspapers printed in 2005.
