Two Dead After Drinking Liquid from Sea Bottle

COLOMBO (News 1st); A tragic incident has unfolded in the Norochcholai area, where two young men have died after consuming an unidentified liquid found inside a bottle that had reportedly washed ashore.

According to police, the victims—both 28 years old—ingested the substance yesterday. One of them died on the spot, while the second succumbed shortly afterward.

Two other individuals who also consumed the liquid have been hospitalized and are currently receiving treatment at the Puttalam District General Hospital.
