Piyumi Hansamali Questioned in Kelhelbaddara Padme Investigation

COLOMBO (News 1st); Model Piyumi Hansamali appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday, following a formal summons related to her alleged connections with Kelhelbaddara Patme, a known organized criminal currently in police custody.

Police sources confirmed that Hansamali was questioned for over three hours, during which a detailed statement was recorded regarding her interactions with the suspect. 

Authorities further revealed that several other actresses and public figures are expected to be summoned in the coming days as part of the ongoing probe.
