Woman Remanded for Aiding Ishara Sewwandi Hide After Ganemulla Murder Case

Colombo (News 1st);The woman arrested for aiding, and abetting Ishara Sewwandi, the main suspect in the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder, to go into hiding, has been remanded until October 24.

She was remanded after being produced before Colombo Additional Magistrate A.K. Dassanayake.

Investigations revealed that Sewwandi had been sheltered in Mathugama area by Sudda, an associate of Mathugama Shan, who is currently abroad.

It was further revealed that Sudda had provided Sewwandi accommodation at his mother’s house.

Accordingly, Sudda’s mother, who was taken into custody, has been remanded.
