30-Hour Water Cut in Several Galle Tomorrow (20th)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 30-hour water cut affecting several areas in the Galle district tomorrow (20th).

According to the Board,supply of water will be suspended from 8:00 a.m. on the 20th until 2:00 p.m. on 21st October.

The disruption will impact Bope, Poddala, Akmeemana, and Rathgama, while Ahangama is expected to experience reduced water pressure.

The Board explained that the suspension is necessary to facilitate the renewal of the main pipeline supplying water to the Galle-Hapugala Water Treatment Plant.
