448 Live Rounds Discovered Near Moragahakanda Reservoir

COLOMBO (News 1st) – A special search operation is underway in the area surrounding the Moragahakanda Reservoir today (12), following the discovery of a stock of live ammunition.
The Naula Police recovered 448 live rounds of various types that had been abandoned near the reservoir.
Police suspect that the ammunition may have been transported to the area and dumped by an unidentified group, further Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
