Former Presidents Rajapaksa And Sirisena Request Return Of Bulletproof Vehicles

COLOMBO(New 1st); Former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and Maithripala Sirisena have requested the Ministry of Public Security to return the bulletproof vehicles they previously used.

Following the repeal of the Presidents' Entitlements Act , steps were recently taken to hand over these vehicles to the Presidential Secretariat in accordance with the law.

Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala stated that the requests will be forwarded to the Security Review Committee.
