Priyal Manampperi Remanded Until Oct 22 Over Ice Case

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court ordered Priyal Manampperi to be remanded until October 22 in connection with a case involving narcotics, including crystal methamphetamine (Ice), discovered in the Middeniya, Thalawa area.

The order was issued by Magistrate Malsha Kodithuwakku during today’s (8) hearing.

The court also directed that Charith Madushanka, who was arrested for allegedly providing protection to Sampath Manampperi, be remanded until the same date.

The Magistrate further instructed authorities to submit a comprehensive report on the case at the next hearing.
