100 Sri Lankan Railway Stations to Get a Makeover

COLOMBO (News 1st); The first phase of the “Dream Destination” National Railway Station Modernization Program, aimed at upgrading 100 railway stations across Sri Lanka, officially commenced at the Talpe Railway Station.

The launch was held under the patronage of Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, the Deputy Minister of Transport.

This initiative is being implemented as a collaborative effort between the government, private sector, and the public, with the goal of rebranding and revitalizing railway stations across the country with a new identity.

The program envisions the modernization of 100 railway stations.
