Former Lotteries Board Director to be Produced in Court

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Executive Director of the National Lotteries Board, Thusitha Halloluwa, who was arrested this morning, is scheduled to be produced before court today.

He was taken into custody by the Colombo Crimes Division while staying at a luxury apartment complex this morning, in connection with investigations into the attack and shooting incident targeting his vehicle.

Colombo Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasinghe issued an open warrant against Halloluwa following a request made by the Colombo Crimes Division yesterday. 

Police further confirmed that a foreign travel ban has also been imposed on him.
