Fire Destroys Nearly 20 Acres in Thalapath Kanda Forest

COLOMBO (News 1st): A fire that broke out in the Thalapath Kanda forest area along the Habarana-Trincomalee road has destroyed nearly 20 acres.
Police said the fire started near the 121st kilometer post.
The Habarana Forest Department, along with police and army personnel, have taken action to bring the blaze under control.
