Met Dept Warns of Strong Winds and Lightning

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory indicating the likelihood of several spells of rain across multiple regions of the country in the coming days.

According to the forecast:

Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces, along with the Kalutara, Galle, and Matara districts, are expected to experience intermittent showers.

Western Province, including Colombo and Gampaha, may also receive light rainfall.

Uva and Eastern Provinces could see isolated showers or thunderstorms, particularly during the evening or night.
