Luxury Motorcycle Import Suspects Remanded Until 30th After Hambantota Warehouse Raid

The suspects arrested over the illegal importation of a stock of luxury motorcycles have been remanded until the 30th.

The order was produced before the Hambantota Magistrate’s Court this afternoon.

The discovery was made last Saturday, when 21 motorcycles, including 8 luxury motorcycles and 4 tricycles were found inside a warehouse located in the Hambantota Bird Park area. 

The owner, manager, and warehouse keeper of the Bird Park have all been remanded in connection with the incident.
