Tourism Authority Faces Probe Over Massive Rs. 2B Deposit

COLOMBO (News 1st); A special audit has been launched regarding the deposit of Rs. 2 billion into the account of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, according to Deputy Minister of Tourism, Professor Ruwan Ranasinghe.
He stated that, in connection with this matter, the Authority’s Director of Finance has been suspended from service.
