Gunmen on Motorcycle Open Fire in Dehiwala – One Hospitalized

COLOMBO (News 1st); A man was injured in a shooting incident that occurred near the Dehiwala Railway Station earlier today (18).

According to police reports, the shooting took place around 11:00 AM, when two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

The injured victim is a resident Dehiwala, and sustained injuries to one of his legs. He was promptly admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are currently underway to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the incident.
