Applications Open for Re-scrutiny of 2024 O/L Results

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations has announced that applications for the re-scrutiny of the 2024 G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination results will be accepted starting today. The deadline for submission is July 28.

The results of the 2024 O/L examination were officially released at midnight on July 10. A total of 474,147 candidates sat for the examination, including 398,182 school candidates, according to the Department.

Based on the released results, 237,026 students have qualified to pursue Advanced Level studies.

The re-scrutiny process allows candidates to request a review of their examination papers if they believe there may have been an error in the marking.
