COLOMBO (News 1st); The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has filed 43 indictments before the Colombo High Court against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, his wife, three daughters, and son-in-law.
The charges have been filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and Bribery and Corruption laws of Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, former Health Ministry Secretary Janaka Sri Chandragupta has been remanded until July 8 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
His arrest was made by the Bribery Commission in connection with an ongoing investigation into unlawful accumulation of assets.
