National Environment Day Celebration to be Held Under President’s Patronage

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s National Environment Day is scheduled to be celebrated this morning in the city of Kegalle, under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

This year’s national theme is “Let it Sprout”, aligning with the global observance of World Environment Day.

In conjunction with the international celebration, Sri Lanka also launched a dedicated Environment Week, during which various awareness campaigns, community activities, and conservation projects are being carried out across the country.
