Polish Foreign Minister Heads to Sri Lanka On Official Visit

COLOMBO (News 1st); Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from May 28 to 31, 2025, in the context of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Minister Sikorski will represent Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, during this high-level diplomatic mission.

During his stay, Minister Sikorski is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. He will also engage in bilateral discussions with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath.

Minister Sikorski will be accompanied by senior officials from both the European Union and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
