Fire Breaks Out at Two Buildings in Vauxhall Street

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A fire has broken out at two buildings on Vauxhall Street in Colombo.

The Colombo Fire Service Department stated that six fire engines have been dispatched to control the blaze. 

The fire reportedly broke out at two warehouses — one used as a restaurant and the other for storing electronic equipment.

Meanwhile, another fire has been reported at a warehouse premises on Armour Street in Colombo. 

Two fire engines were deployed to the scene to bring the situation under control.

Firefighters are continuing efforts to douse the flames as investigations into the causes of both incidents are likely to follow.
