UNP to Form Common Alliance with Opposition Parties

COLOMBO (News 1st) – The United National Party (UNP) has decided to form a common alliance with all opposition political parties to address the upcoming elections and political challenges.

This decision was made during a leadership meeting of the UNP held at the political office of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Flower Road, Colombo.

The proposal was presented by former President Ranil Wickremesinghe during the meeting.

Accordingly, the former President has instructed to invite all parties, including the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), to join this common alliance to face the upcoming elections and political situations.
