Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said that the first question paper of the Gr. 5 Scholarship examination will not be nullified.

He said that any additional complaints regarding this matter will be thoroughly investigated before a final decision is reached.

Significant discourse has arisen concerning the incidents related to the release of several questions from the first question paper and being circulated on social media shortly before the exam began.

A group gathered near the Department of Examinations today to protest against the matter.

The Gr. 5 Scholarship examination took place on September 15 across 2,849 examination centers.
