Train derailment disrupts upcountry route

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An upcountry train traveling from Colombo to Badulla derailed near the Watawala railway station this morning, disrupting service on the route.

The Railway Control Room confirmed the incident. Track repairs have already begun.
