NBRO Deploys Special Teams To Investigate Landslides On Ella-Wellawaya Road

COLOMBO (News 1st); The NBRO has deployed a special team to investigate the landslides along the Ella Wellawaya main road.

Senior Geologist of the Landslide Research and Risk Management Division of the organization, Gamini Jayatissa said that they are looking into long term plans to stabilize the area.

He mentioned that two teams have been deployed for this task and the proposed measures will be taken to minimize the damages caused by potential landside areas along the Ella Wellawaya main road.
