Sri Lanka-India Boat Service Delayed Further

COLOMBO (News 1st); The ferry service scheduled to operate between Sri Lanka and India has been temporarily halted due to a technical issue.
The service was intended to run from Nagapattinam in India to Kankasanthurai in Sri Lanka.
Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva confirmed that the boat service was initially planned to commence on the 13th. However, on two occasions, the service failed to start.
