Parliament to meet on Sunday to debate VAT

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Parliament will convene on Sunday to consider the proposal to increase VAT or the Value Added Tax from 15% to 18%.

Chairman of the Committee on Public Finance, Dr. Harsha De Silva said that the good that will be subject to VAT for the very first time need to be reviewed.
