Tusker Agbo shot AGAIN

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Medical operations have begun on Tusker Agbo who was shot a second time.

Veterinarian Dr. Chandana Jayasingha said the Wildlife officer of Anuradhapura says that the Tusker was shot a second time after 4 months of the initial shooting. 

He said that around 5 rounds were fired at the Tusker as well. 

The condition of the Tusker is critical.

Agbo, the tusker, is 50-years-old and measures 9.5 feet in height.

An investigation headed by the Department of Wildlife was launched.
