2023 Asian Games: Sri Lanka knocked out by Afghanistan in the Men's Cricket Competition

COLOMBO (News 1st); Afghanistan beat Sri Lanka by 8 runs in the 3rd quarter final of the Asian Games Men's Cricket Competition in China.

Chasing 117, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 108.

For Afghanistan, Noor Ali Zadran top scored with 51* while Gulbadin Naib and Qais Ahmad took three wickets each.

Skipper Sahan Arachchige top-scored for Sri Lanka with 22 runs, and Nuwan Thushara took 4/17.
