Issuance of revenue licenses in Western Province suspended

COLOMBO (News 1st); The issuance of revenue licenses for vehicles in the Western and Central provinces has been suspended from today until the 2nd of October.

The Provincial Councils said no fines will be charged for vehicle revenue licenses that expire during this period.

The online application process and issuance of vehicle revenue licenses has also been temporarily halted in the Central Province until midnight on the 6th of October.

The issuance of vehicle revenue licenses was halted as the computer data system is being updated.
