Health Trade Unions to take action against health secretary's circular

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Joint Council for Professions of Supplementary Medicine, announced that strict action will be taken against the circular issued by the Health Secretary concerning the release of statements to the media. He warned that trade unions will respond if the circular is arbitrarily enforced at the corporate level.

In the circular, attention has also been drawn to a Supreme Court judgment regarding public officials commenting to the media.
