Two Suspects Involved In Dan Priyasad Murder Identified

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two suspects involved in the murder of Dan Priyasad were identified during an identification parade held at the Colombo Magistrates Court today.

The identification parade was held today following an order issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela.

The lawyer representing the suspects stated that the investigation was heading in the wrong direction.

He added that the two suspects identified are not involved in the shooting that took place, while the actual suspects are still at large.

The two suspects have been remanded until the 23rd of May.

Dan Priyasad sustained gunshot injuries during a shooting at a housing complex in Salamulla, on the night of April 22.

He later died while receiving treatment at the National Hospital.
