Daily flights commence between Jaffna and Chennai

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Pvt) Ltd has announced the commencement of daily flights between Jaffna and Chennai, beginning Sunday the 16th of July.

Chief Airport Manager, Aruna Rajapaksa, confirmed that the inaugural flight arrived in Jaffna at 11:30 am today, marking the initiation of daily flights along this route.

Passengers can now purchase air tickets for the Chennai to Jaffna flight at a price of Rs. 53,000.

This new air connectivity between Jaffna and Chennai is expected to enhance travel options and strengthen ties between the two destinations.
